Got a hunt coming up next weekend and just curious as to how PP is looking over there? I'll be taking off Friday from work and scouting all day, but I haven't heard much of anything as to how the hunting has been over there. Are there any birds utilizing any of the impoundments, or are they just not there this year?

My friend scouted it and said it was poor, you might have good luck anyway. I'll be out there with you in the poor conditions.

Water is up but is it fresh or salt?

Well, how did all the Merritt island guys do? I managed to get a few birds but it was a struggle.

It was pretty sad in my impoundment. I'll guarantee I saw less than 50 total, including the stratosphere. A few teal did save my morning though, managed to limit out. I think I missed only once, and on another round I tripled on two shots. They came in low with the wings cupped and landing gear down.

It was so slow I left and did not hunt Sunday.

I'm not sure which is more unsatisfying. Killing a limit and seeing almost nothing flying, or seeing thousands and not getting a shot.

This was something new for me.

139 were you in shiloh 3 or Area 3?

I had buddies with a permit in shiloh 5 and they shot ducks.

I have a permit i'm going to use to light my grill tomorrow. But I have a pretty good idea where to find some birds for wed morning. we will see tomorrow.

I don't like the rat race so I roll through around 430 most days.

Grits and gravy , yes white truck, he is lucky no one was injured or he'd be sitting in jail. Sorry crash duck, I was in Shiloh 3. Definitely need law enforcement out there. And yes when I was checking out guys in 5 said they did well.
