This was the 8th youth hunt i have been on down at pcs, and we have got a limit on each hunt. It has always been me and my brother, or a friend hunting, but this time it was just me and dad. In the past all we had to do was set up, shoot a limit, and leave. But this year we had to work hard to get the limit. After moving to the 2nd spot we kept watching birds go into one pothole, so we moved there and i got 3 ringers in about an hour. At 10:00 we made our way to the very back of the pond for the 4th move, where in 20 minutes i killed 3 drake shovelers in 3 shots. That was a great way to end a tough hunt/season like we have had. me with birds IP: Logged |
