Looking for a Duck Hunting Lease for 2010-2011. Just got a new lab and have been training all year. He was too young this year, but I'll be damned if I'm letting another duck season go by without doing some serious duck hunting. I'm in Southwest Florida, but will consider anything in Florida. Anyone know a good resource to find lease property? ------------------ IP: Logged |

as I'm sure you will find out shortly duck leases in Florida are pricey to say the least and few and far b/w. You're lookin at 5000$ for 60 days (if that) of hunting. Unless you lease land with duck ponds, but then you run into the deer hunters who will want to tan your hide for shooting during season. Florida is not ideal for duck leases. You are too far south, but Mississippi has some good rice field leases I may look into IP: Logged |

I know there are some out there. I have friends of friends who are on some that are full. Maybe I'll buy some land and start one.... IP: Logged |

I was just searching the internet for this yesterday....Would be nice to have a place to go that was full of ducks and not battle crowds. IP: Logged |

I might be onto something here....Do you think I can get $5000 a piece from leasehold members? There's got to be some Lykes Brothers property with ducks on it.... ------------------ IP: Logged |

Yeah, it seems like nobody in Naples hunts. Naples used to be "old Florida", but now its just "neopolitan." Every year another concrete shopping mall or fancy bar. I'm told Naples Bay used to be covered with ducks. ------------------ IP: Logged |
