A friend called me from the Cannal Street ferry on its last trip across the Mississippi for the night , only he was heading into the city . and did not care how he was getting back across to go home . I thought that was pretty funny . probably woke up in City Park or on the steps of the MoonWalk in front of Jackson Square .
