by simply using the SEARCH button, with "choctawhatchee" typed in, i found two threads that may interest you: http://www.floridawaterfowler.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001174.html http://www.floridawaterfowler.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002467.html other than that I am not sure. I personally don't know many duck hunters in the panhandle. But they are there. IP: Logged |

choctaw bay, as all bays in the panhandle, has some ducks. they are few and far between. limits of anything other then buffleheads are rare. there are occasional trophy birds. I know of more then one bull sprig taken in the bays of the panhandle. as you go east there are many brackish options. Scout my brother scout! Don't count on barrel burners as they are all but unheard of, even in the best holes and points. And yes there are teal to be killed. there one day gone the next. A real good day in panhandle public water would be 2-4 teal. this info is based on years of trying to scrape a few ducks from the duck void called the panhandle. good luck! IP: Logged |
