I was able to end the season really nicely with a couple of unexpected woodie shoots. Went with a buddy to his deer lease by the airport on saturday and got 4 between me, my buddy and his son. And took the pup for a nice romp thru the woods after. Which was good for him and good for the wife since he slepyt the rest of the day he was so worn out. Forgot to get pics though. Then got a call to hunt Sunday morning with my buddy Brian and his two yr old chocolate. We had a real nice morning and were one short of a limit. Great way to end the season. This was a good year for me, made some new friends and learned a ton. Ryan IP: Logged |

Way to end the season Ryan . I sat in the flooded timber with no luck , I ended with 1 drake and 3 hen ringers . nice drake I am going to atempt to mount him myself . I am going to pick up my widgeon next week and asked my Taxidermist to put a DIY kit together for me , I will post the picts when its done sometime in the summer months stay in touch Pirouge ------------------ IP: Logged |
