Orange Lake and Newnans Lake. Both within 1/2 hour from UF.

Lake George is going to be a 2 hr drive from Gainesville

I go to UF now and Orange Lake is by far the most popular hunting spot in the area.

More than ample for the job. Just be careful of the gators and the rough days...you will get wet in something like that on arough and windy day.

JCP- the 15'4 is the Hi-Sider model. I just sold my rig today as I had the same thing. You will be able to get around all right. Your a bit more limited targeting puddlers on orange cause some of the areas get real shallow and mucky with ass loads of hydrilla. You can make it around all right youll just be trimming a bunch. I'm going to buy a 15'6 classic so I can run a longtail off the back. But for the last 2 seasons we did run an outboard and did just fine. go gators.

ok cool i was mostly worried about rough days, with two guys, deeks, and blind it gets kinda hairy but i handled lake pointsett all the way across in like 20 mph winds so i guess it should be fine
